Cary Neff
Founder/chef
Cary Neff is a Philadelphia chef, restaurateur, and private chef whose roots run deep in the city's food scene. Over three decades he's been a restaurant owner, a private chef "to the stars," a cooking instructor, and a partner to many of the city's culinary giants — earning a reputation as something of a Philadelphia institution. Today his ventures — C.M. Neff Cook Supply Co., The Knife Shop, The Pantry, and Cary Neff Catering & Events — operate under his umbrella company, Cary Neff & Co.

Drew Baker became enamored with the world of knives during his career as a cook. He entered the culinary world in VT before moving back to Philly, and has worked in many coveted restaurants since. Most recently, he worked as the Sous Chef for the Phillies in the team clubhouse.
During that time, Drew worked part-time at CM Neff Cook Supply sharpening and selling knives. The city’s great response to this service led him to help open The Knife Shop. He hopes to keep building the business and collaborate with chefs all across the city.
